Sado Tourism Association ("the Association", "we", "our") understands the importance of protecting personally identifiable information ("Personal Data"), and are committed to protecting your privacy as set forth below. We strive to operate a website that gains users' confidence.
1.About personal information
Personal Data refers to information that identifies a particular individual, such as the individual's postal address, name, email address, telephone number, date of birth, sex and other information. It also includes information which identifies a specific individual when combined with other information.
2.About the collection of personal information
We clearly state the purpose for collecting your Personal Data. We will collect and use it only to the extent necessary to achieve that purpose. In principle, when collecting Personal Data through the website operated by the Association, Personal Data is provided (registered) with the users' own free will.

The Association will use personal information provided by users within the scope of the purpose of collection it has clarified. The Association will not disclose or provide the information to any third parties without prior consent, except when demanded by law.
4.About the management of personal information
The Association employs security measures to protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access and against breaches, accidental loss, falsification or leakage. We only keep your Personal Data for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. At the end of the retention period, your Personal Data will be deleted immediately and completely.
In order to ensure smooth business operations, the Association may outsource some of our services to third-party contractors. When third parties are given access to Personal Data, we will take appropriate contractual measures designed to ensure that Personal Data is securely processed, and maintain close supervision of our contractors.
5.About access log
The websites operated by the Association collect access logs. These access logs collect data such as browser type, date and time of access, domain name, IP address and other information, all of which are not personally identifiable. Access logs are used for monitoring usage trends and analyzing publicity effectiveness of the websites only.

The Association handles other matters, which are not specified in this Privacy Policy, in accordance with Sado Tourism Association Personal Data Protection Procedure.
8.Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. In the event of any disputes arising out of, or related to, this Privacy Policy, both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court that governs the area in which the Association is located at the first instance, unless otherwise stated.
